How we work
A sound lock on a sound door gets rekeyed, which is cheaper and keeps hardware that already fits. A lock that is worn, cheaply made or wrong for an exterior door gets replaced. A door that does not latch gets fixed first, because a new lock on a door that will not close is not security. The estimate says which and why.
Cylinders are repinned to a new key at the door. New locks are fitted so the bolt throws smoothly into the strike, with the strike plate reinforced where the door is an entry. Keys are cut and every one is tried in every lock it should open before we count the job done.
You get the number of keys you asked for, no extras floating around, and for a master system a chart of which key opens which door. When a tenant or an employee leaves, the chart is what makes the next rekey a small job instead of a whole-building one.

Rekey, if the locks are in good shape and are real deadbolts on the exterior doors. Replace, if they are worn, cheap, or a knob lock is doing the work of a deadbolt. We look at each one and tell you, and most move-ins are a mix.
