A camera system fails in three places: a lens pointed where nothing useful happens, a recorder that overwrote the footage before anyone looked, and a phone app nobody set up. We do all three parts.

The two places footage is most often needed: a camera that gets a face at eye level at the door, and one that sees the register or the loading dock without glare.
How we work
Coverage on a drawing means nothing if the door camera sees the tops of heads or the lot camera faces the sun at closing time. We walk the entrances, the registers, the loading dock and the parking, and place each camera at a height and an angle that gets a face or a plate. Fewer cameras in the right places beat more in the wrong ones.
A recorder is priced by channels and storage. We work out how many days you need to keep, at what resolution, and specify the drive to match, so the footage from Friday night is still there on Monday morning. Cables run in conduit or above the ceiling, not stapled along the trim.
Every camera is checked at night as well as in daylight. The app is installed on your phone, playback is demonstrated, the alerts are tuned, and you leave knowing how to pull a clip when you need one. The recorder's login is yours, written down and handed over.

An NVR records IP cameras over network cable, and is what a new system usually gets: a sharper picture, and one cable for power and video. A DVR records analog cameras over coax, and is the right answer when a building already has good coax and the budget is for better cameras rather than a rewire.
If the cameras still give a usable picture, yes, and we check that they do before quoting. Often the cameras are the weak part and the recorder is fine; we say which.
As many as the drive holds at your resolution and camera count. We ask how long you need, a week for most stores and longer for some property managers, and size the storage to it, rather than finding out when a clip is already gone.

Wireless cameras still need power, and they drop off Wi-Fi at the worst times. For anything you rely on, we run cable. Battery and Wi-Fi cameras have their place at a home where a cable cannot go, and we will say when that is the case.
